My fiance is a big fan of Ledbury, so chose the Tux shirt for our wedding. I purchased three for my Dad, brother and brother in law; what a HIT! The fabric is beautiful; sturdy without being stiff, with just a hint of interest (vs a boring old tux shirt). They arrived within a few days, and exchanging sizes was super simple (even with the sleeves shortened). They all LOVED them - so much so, I ended up ordering 2 more regular shirts for my Dad as a thank you gift!
Beautiful fabric. I only wish it actually had a bib (as a gentleman never removes his jacket) and that the buttons on the removable strip were the same size as the collar buttons -- they are quite easy to pop out -- and had tension threading like the shirt buttons do. Honestly though, I'd love to wear this with a dinner jacket regardless of these minor issues.
I was extremely happy with this tuxedo shirt. I wore it to get married two weeks ago and 3 of my groomsmen bought the same shirt. The slim fit was an excellent cut and it worked well with no cumberbund as the bottle button is covered.
The wishlist for the shirt for my wedding was very short: great fitting, classic style. Ledbury nailed both of these with this shirt. In the end, it was the only place I needed to look. The shirt fits superbly (I'm 6'1" / 160lbs and wear a 15/33) and looks stunning with a tux, but with it's clean, classic style and the very clever button band, it's versatile enough to be worn with a suit as well. All that and great customer support thus far means yeah, I'll be back for more.
I wanted a smart shirt that could be worn with a tux and also for events that should require formal wear, but sadly do not. This shirts fits the bill perfectly. The slim fit is excllent, and the hidden button on the placket allows the shirt to be worn easily with a cummerbund or without if you want to dress down a tad. It is also great for those who have an issue with other tux shirts that show that 4th or 5th button, and not a stud, when the cummerbund eases down a bit on the torso. For reference I am 6'3" and 195 lbs and wear a 16/35.
The shirt looked great - several cuts above my friends in their rentals. Perhaps a slightly more opaque shirt to allow for no undershirt, but that's a small thing. Great shirt, great experience.
