Our Philosophy

We think that a few well-made items are better than many that are not, and that although quality and attention to detail are not inexpensive, they do not always have to come with an exorbitant price tag. Our goal is to set trend aside and make great fitting, high-quality shirts that can be worn in any setting and by any generation.

In a little more detail:

Fit: Great fitting clothes are hard to find and that’s one of the main reasons we started Ledbury. All of our shirts are made with slightly less fabric in the waist and torso to create a more flattering shape (if you are a bigger build, not to worry, our classic shirt fits men of all shapes and sizes). We also make a wide selection of slim fit shirts, which provide an ideal tailored look.

Innovation: At Ledbury we also added a little innovation. Unlike most shirtmakers, our collars (which are separately sewn on) are fused from the outside in. This ensures that the collar stays standing up and won’t collapse under a jacket. We have also lowered the second button to create the ideal V at the neckline; solving the problem of having the shirt buttoned too high or too low when not wearing a tie.

Quality: Ask anyone who cooks and they will tell you that the key to a great meal is ingredients. At Ledbury, we know the same is true for shirts. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics and finish each shirt with Mother of Pearl buttons. We are serious about quality and it rivals (if not surpasses) many of the top luxury brands.

If there is any problem, please let us know and we will work to solve it immediately. If you need to return your purchase for any reason you have a year to do so, no questions asked, and we will pick up the tab for the return shipping.
