Between our wallets, keys, notepads, reading materials and tablets, we carry a lot of gear with us. To keep all these things organized, there’s nothing more indispensable than a great bag. For the 9-to-5 grind, a trip to the gym, or a weekend jaunt, we created a list of some of the bags that we’re using this fall. Mismo M/S Briefcase Firmly rooted in Danish design principles, Mismo represents simplicity, functionality, and durability. Constructed from waterproof canvas and included laptop compartment, consider this an upgrade to the traditional office briefcase. Billykirk Large 20” Carryall We are huge fans of Billykirk and we frequently feature their bags in our Style Files. For the weekend, you’ll have plenty of space to pack everything you need into this bag and hit the road. Southern Field Industries Waxed Canvas Rucksack This rucksack is one of our favorite bag alternatives. Handmade in Japan, this expertly-crafted bag from Southern Field Industries proves that rucksacks can be used for more than just high school text books. Sandqvist Carl-Gustav in Blue Each Sandqvist bag is designed with a nod to Swedish heritage -- durable materials, sleek design and attention to even the tiniest details. The Carl-Gustav features a full-grain leather bottom and a body constructed from heavy-duty canvas. It’s the perfect size for a weekender. Herschel Supply Co. Studio Sutton Mid Duffle Established in the early 1900s with inspiration drawn from vintage mountaineering and American heritage, Herschel Supply Co. is another favorite of ours. Crafted from durable water repellent heavy-duty canvas, this is a great bag for the gym or light travel.
All bags appear throughout our Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook and are available at Need Supply Co.
