One question we hear time and time again: “What’s a pop-up shop all about?"
Pop-up shops vary quite a bit from brand to brand. For us, we pop-ups aren’t just a temporary store, they’re one of the most true reflections of the Ledbury brand. The pop-up shop is an opportunity to build relationships with existing customers, and give new faces the friendliest of welcomes. While most pop-up shops run for a weekend, a week, or a month, our shop in Georgetown is open for a bit of an extended stay - about 3 months. We’ve been very fortunate to meet so many folks who live in the DC area and those who are traveling through, many unfamiliar with Ledbury, in the short time that the shop has been open.
In wake of celebrating our 5th Anniversary, it’s humbling to see such authentic excitement when people are introduced to Ledbury for the first time.
We think it’s important to give our pop-up shop experience something a little different than the online experience, to not only encourage folks to make the trip, but to recognize where we are geographically. In the Georgetown shop, you can pick up
four exclusive styles offered in-store only. We also have one-of-a-kind oddities, furniture, and curio from our Richmond friends,
The Odd Couple, available for purchase in-store. And probably the best part - you can party with us, almost every weekend! Speaking of, we’ve got a couple of events on the horizon for your last-minute shopping needs, and to get you through the grey days of January.
