Earlier this year, with a handful of travel plans lined up, I decided it was a good time to pick up a new dopp kit. I settled on this dark brown kit from Archival Clothing and after bringing it along on several trips, I can safely say it has been a welcomed addition to my traveling gear. The design of the Archival Dopp is simple, free from bulk, and constructed from a durable waxed cotton canvas. This kit was made to handle the natural wear of travel so I don’t feel obligated to keep it pristine – after all it’s only holding toiletries. I admit that a dopp kit is a little counterintuitive for air travel but well worth the extra step. As for a new duffel bag, the search continues.
