Video // Fall Winter 2013 Necktie Collection
We're excited to release our Fall/Winter 2013 Necktie Collection, which we returned to a century-old Italian production mill to create. For the collection, we focused on fabric and hand-feel to create a series of neckties that would effortlessly compliment any outfit. We sat down with Paul Trible, Co-founder and Designer, to learn more about several of his favorite neckties from the collection.
The Barlow Stripe Tie
This is our contemporary take on the classic regimental stripe necktie. The descent of the stripes depends on where they were made. If they were produced in Europe, the stripes fall from left-to-right but if the necktie was produced in the U.S., the stripes fall from right-to-left. This is a great tie that pairs perfectly with a grey suit or darker sport coat.
The Purple Wells Tie
This necktie was constructed from a grenadine weave. Grenadine is an open weave that adds texture and depth to any outfit. As it is a solid, you can wear this necktie with almost anything. Grenadine neckties are perfect for traveling because the weave makes the tie less likely to wrinkle.
The Red Upton Knit Tie
Knitted ties are a favorite inside of our office. We used a mélange weave that adds additional texture to the necktie's deep-red complexion. This necktie is great for casual wear, but also office-appropriate.
The Navy Parsons Twill Tie
Everyone has a navy tie, but this one stands out with added geometric shapes and tonal blues and browns. We constructed this from a beautiful silk-cashmere blend that is soft to the hand and creates a great knot.
