In case you missed it, blue is one of our favorite hues around here at Ledbury HQ. Which is why have a soft spot for our exclusive, limited-run Indigo Capsule Collection. Indigo is an organic compound dye that has been used on textiles for over 6,000 years. It was originally used in India, and made it's way to ancient Greece and Rome where it was valued as a luxury material. It's also the blue that you will find in your favorite denim - the original blue jeans were dyed with indigo (though most use synthetic dye these days). This collection has undergone a special dying process resulting in variations of shading and color. These variations add unique character to each shirt. Our indigo collection shirts require a certain level of care due to the dye treatment. We recommend washing these shirts separately in cold water to prevent dye transfer to other light-colored clothing. Read on for a few highlights from the collection and you'll see why these will quickly be in your summer rotation.
