Since the very beginning, it was important for us to create a welcoming space where we could meet and build relationships with our customers. For this reason, we began the process of renovating our showroom several months ago. In order to make the space more personal, we installed barn wood from our Co-Founder and CEO Paul Trible’s centuries-old family farm. When Paul and Paul returned to the U.S. from London after graduate school, they spent the better part of two months at the farm working on the first collection of shirting. Since then, we have had a handful of photoshoots at the farm, and we return twice a year for our company retreats. The farm is a part of the fabric of our company, and using the barn wood drove the personality of the space. In addition to the reclaimed wood, we included furniture from some of our favorite mid-century modern designers - Paul McCobb, Charles and Ray Eames, and Harry Bertoia. These timeless pieces go beyond style and act in perfect harmony with the space and overall aesthetic of the showroom. The final outcome was a significant collaborative effort. From getting the barn wood to renovating the showroom, we worked closely with our friend Kevin Daley on the construction of the space. All of our mid-century modern furniture inside of the showroom was sourced from Killer Junk Studios. Lastly, the finishing touch came from Nomadic Trading Co's over dyed rugs. Our office and showroom is located at 117 South 14th Street inside of a renovated tobacco warehouse that was built in 1866. If you’re in Richmond or happen to find yourself this way, we’d love for you to stop by. We are open Monday – Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays from 12-5pm. If you would like to set up a personal shopping appointment, feel free to e-mail Audie, our Retail Manager, at audie@ledbury.com. Here’s to many good times to come in the future inside the newly renovated showroom.
