Store Spotlight: Oak Hall
In this new series, we will highlight some of the fine brick-and-mortar locations around the country where you can shop Ledbury. Find a full list of our stockists here.
Oak Hall is not only one of the oldest menswear stores in the nation - it’s one of America’s longest running family-owned businesses. When they reached out to us years back to sell Ledbury, we were honored. Running a successful business for over a century is no small feat, and they’re some of the nicest people in the industry to boot. It was only natural we began this series with them, our longest-standing wholesale account.
Founded in 1859 by Solomon Halle, Oak Hall opened its flagship location in pre-Civil War Memphis, Tennessee. The store expanded into a second location in Nashville in 2016. The store is still currently owned and operated by direct descendants of the original founder. Oak Hall has served many celebrities and notable people over the years, but not many can claim to have William “Buffalo Bill” Cody as a frequent customer. Buffalo Bill shopped Oak Hall at least three times during the turn of the century.
Today, Oak Hall has two locations and is one of the Southeast’s largest shopping destinations. Along with a curated selection of Ledbury shirts and sweaters, Oak Hall carries a wide range of top men’s brands including Barbour outerwear, Schott leather, and Moore & Giles. Carrying a range of high-end brands for men and women alike, it’s a one-stop shop for all of your clothing needs. Both locations host monthly trunk shows with various men’s and women’s designers, so there is always something new to discover. Whether you’re visiting Nashville or Memphis or you’re a genuine Tennessean, we highly recommend adding a visit to Oak Hall to your itinerary.
