In honor of one of our favorite pastimes, catching a movie on the big screen, we would like to present our most recent style file: The Film Critic.* We're heading into the thick of movie season. The Virginia Film Festival is right around the corner, as well as the release of many of the films that we’ve been anticipating all year. Sure, summer movies are known for their special effects and record-setting ticket sales, but the fall seems to be the time when really great films come out. In this collection, in addition to the Lochlan Gingham, we have included a few of the necessary provisions for any lover of cinema. “Scorsese by Ebert,” The Beatles’ A Hard Days Night, one of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time, and a pair of optical frames made in collaboration with the Gregory Peck Estate and inspired by the same style in “To Kill A Mockingbird” are a couple of our favorites.
