Ok, so I am going to be really anal, but that bc it's me and NOT the shirt.
First off, I judge button up dress/ casual shirts in 3 ways FROM ANY MAKER, NOT just Ledbury.
A) AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, FIT!!!! If the shirt does NOT extend pass your wrist bone so it may PROPERLY extend past your jacket sleeve, then the shirt does not fit you properly. If the shirt does NOT fit you properly in the shoulder, it will either be too tight or the sleeves will look sloppy. So again, FIT, FIT, FIT!!
B) The "Cut" of the shirt. How is the shirt fitted or not to your body type. So many "off the rack" shirts are "boxy" looking. Even if you had a physique, no one could tell underneath that shell of what most call shirts.
C) Attention to details/ Add ons- This is why I take off 1 star, but I have spoken with Fea, from the CX Team and she has been gr8!
And so now this brings me to the Red Hutchins Herringbone Custom shirt.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! There are SO few online shirt companies that will do sleeves in 1/2" increments, and Ledbury delivers. I actually need the 36.5" and I am so happy they offer that.
The shirt FITS ME PERFECTLY FROM SHOULDER TO SHOULDER and the "CUT" I always choose is the Extra Slim and I AM IN LOVE how the shirt is cut to be closer to my rib and side area.
