A very trim silhouette. Designed for very lean or smaller body types with narrow shoulders, small chest and a flat stomach. This is a form fitting shirt.

Contemporary

Wider at the chest and more generous in the waist than our Tailored Fit. Designed for medium-plus (think dad bod) to bigger builds, or men who prefer more room. Narrower in the chest, waist, and sleeve than our most generous Classic Fit.

How to Measure

Find a shirt that fits your body well and get ready to measure

01. Neck Size

Measure body, not shirt. 

Measure the circumference of your neck with two fingers between your neck and the measuring tape for a comfortable fit. Make sure that the angle of the measuring tape follows the direction a collar would naturally sit on your neck and falls under the Adam's apple. 

02. Sleeve Length

With your shirt still buttoned, flip it over so it faces down. Start by measuring from the center of the neck at the base of the collar seam. From that point, extend the measuring tape along the shoulder seam, then down the sleeve all the way to the end of the cuff. This is your sleeve length measurement. No need to add for shrinkage - we've done that for you. If you are between sizes, go with the longer of your possible measurements.

03. Shirt Chest

Make sure your shirt is buttoned and lay it flat. Measure from the armhole at the side seam across to the other side. Multiply that number by 2 to get the shirt chest measurement.

04. Shirt Waist

With your shirt laid flat, measure across the side seam of the the slimmest part of the shirt (which should be about halfway between the armhole and the hem). Multiply that number by 2 to get the shirt waist measurement.

05. Front Body Length

With your shirt facing up and laid flat, measure down the center of the front of the shirt. Start where the collar meets the placket (where the buttons are sewn on) and measure down to the bottom seam. That length is your front body length measurement.

06. Back Length

Lay your shirt flat, facing down. Start from the center of the back of the collar, where the collar band meets the neck seam. Measure down the back center of the shirt all the way to the bottom of the hem. That measurement is your shirt back body length.

The unique blend of natural (bamboo) synthetic fibers creates a shirt that’s softer, smoother, and that moves better than anything else in your closest, all while retaining the look of your favorite cotton dress shirt. Perfect for travel or for long days at the office, the fabric is incredibly breathable, never wrinkles (even after a full day of wear) and is machine washable/dryable for no fuss care.

      Performance dress shirts done right

      This is my second Journey Flex Performance shirt from Ledbury. Ledbury nailed it with these performance shirts. They wash and wear well and the collars sit perfectly, which has been an issue with other performance shirts I’ve purchased from other brands. I will certainly be adding more to my wardrobe.

      Great pattern and material

      This is an attractive and perfectly form fitting shirt. I really like the ability to customize the sleeve length so that I can wear it with sport coats. Only complaint is that even for a shirt meant to be tucked, it is somewhat long compared to similar dress shirts in my closet.

Under the "further customize" section, you can select "Untucked 5'10" and Over" to receive the shirt in our shortened body length. Our size charts have our different body lengths listed there for your reference. For many of our customers, the short body length is still long enough to tuck in.
