If you follow us on Instagram, you’re probably anticipating some rad content from our creative team’s trip to New Orleans. (If you don’t follow us on Instagram, you probably should.) We decided to share some behind-the-scenes snapshots and a few of our favorite NOLA locations to get you ready for an entire issue of Easy Goer devoted to New Orleans next month, and of course, for our March Catalog. In the meantime, be sure to request a catalog, and keep an eye out for more great content from the Big Easy! IMG_3889
Spots You Can’t Miss — Eat:
Felix’s - We went here twice in one week, which is saying a lot for a city with such a major focus on food. 100% go to Felix’s. Get oysters served all the ways — on the half shell, char-grilled (Seriously.), buffalo, fried. Definitely take a group and show up hungry. Other crowd favorites: turtle soup, crawfish étoufée and red beans & rice, obviously.
Bacchanal - Great concept for a wine bar in the Bywater. Ideal during nice weather, but they do a great job making their outdoor patio cold-weather friendly. Live music every night, great share plates, great wine selection and it’s in a cool part of town. What more could you want?
Cane & Table - You’d never expect to walk into a small-ish door in the Quarter and find a place like Cane & Table. Sophisticated, yet accessible. Beautiful interior, delicious Havana-inspired plates and cocktails, friendly staff and great patio for warmer seasons (which is mostly all of the time, except for the week Ledbury was in town).
Mother’s - Speaking of going places twice: pop into Mother’s for debris and some authentic southern creole with a diner vibe. Grab a bloody to-go and you’re basically living the N’awlins lifestyle.
Willa Jean - Brunch. Whoa. Willa Jean is hands-down incredible. Minimal interior aesthetic, incredible food, incredible coffee. Everything about this place made everyone wish we had one more day in town so we could go again. Keep your eyes peeled for an Easy Goer feature on Willa Jean next month!
Spots You Can’t Miss — Explore:
KREWE du optic - Newfound friends KREWE du optic are changing the eyewear game, and doing it all from the French Quarter. Stop into their shop on Royal St and get fitted for some new sunnies. Another great piece to keep an eye out for next month!

Take a trolley ride - They’re unpredictable. But time is somewhat irrelevant in New Orleans, so just go with it and take a ride down St. Charles. Hop off at the cemetery or Audubon Park and soak it up, preferably with a bloody Mary in hand.
Rebirth Brass Band at Maple Leaf Bar, every Tuesday - Sure, it may take you back to your college days seeing that Maple Leaf is located within walking distance of Tulane, but it’s totally worth it.
Aiden Gill for Men - These kind folks allowed us to borrow a couple of watches for our catalog shoot. Stop in for a cut, shave and a new cologne. Their carefully curated collection will not disappoint.
And we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more New Orleans goodness in Easy Goer, Issue No. 9.
