  1. How can I place an order?

  2. How can I make a change to an order I placed?

    Please call Customer Service at 888.233.1942 within two hours of placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  3. How do I know that my online purchase is secure?

    We use SSL certificates and a PCI compliant gateway for our electronic commerce transactions. For more information on the technology used in this website, please visit our legal page. If you prefer to place an order by phone, call us at 888.233.1942 weekdays 8am-6pm ET.

  4. Is gift wrapping available for items in my order?

    Gift wrap is available for all products, except for blazers and gift cards. For $10 per item, your gift will arrive in a navy Ledbury gift box, handsomely wrapped in our branded tissue paper.

  1. How long will my shipment take to get to me?

    Delivery times vary, but our complimentary ground shipping usually delivers your order within five business days.

    You may be required to sign for your package. We recommend having the package delivered to a location where someone will be available to sign for it, such as a business address.

    *If your shirt is being tailored, please allow 3 to 5 business days for completion prior to shipping. During the busy holiday season, please allow additional time for tailored orders to be processed before shipping.

  2. What are my shipping options?

    We offer complimentary domestic shipping as well as expedited services. We do not currently offer international shipping.

    *Please place orders with expedited shipping by 12pm ET to ensure the order goes out the same day. If your expedited order includes a tailored shirt, please allow additional time for your order to ship. Expedited orders will be prioritized but may require an additional 2-3 business days to complete prior to shipping. Please see our Shipping Pagefor detailed information about our shipping options.

  1. What is your return policy?

    We accept eligible returns for ready-to-wear purchases made from Ledbury.com, Ledbury retail locations, or via our customer service phone line. For further details, please read our.

  2. Are tailored items returnable?

    Full-priced shirts ordered with sleeve tailoring may be returned for a $10 restocking fee, which will be automatically deducted from the returned total. The original $10 tailoring charge is non-refundable.

    *Sale shirts ordered with tailoring are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Merchandise that has been altered by a third party will not be accepted for a refund.

  3. Do you offer price adjustments?

    TA one-time price adjustment will be honored within 14 days of the original purchase date. Contact Customer Service at 888.233.1942 with inquiries.

  1. Where are your products made?

    Our ready-to-wear collections, designed in house, are constructed in small European factories distinguished by their high level of craftsmanship. Our exclusive Ledbury Lab offerings are handcrafted at our Richmond workshop. We also offer a selection of accessories made in partnership with local artisans in Virginia.e.

  2. What makes a Ledbury shirt different?

    Ledbury shirts are tailored at the waist and torso to create a more flattering fit. The lowered second button creates the ideal “V” at the neckline, so that the shirt is buttoned neither too high nor too low. Our shirt collars have a unique canvassed interlining that helps them remain standing tall under a blazer or sweater. Our shirts are handcrafted from the finest Italian-woven fabrics and finished with mother-of-pearl buttons.

  3. How do I choose my shirt size?

    We offer a Slim fit for a modern, fitted silhouette and a Classic fit for a more relaxed, tailored fit. Our shirts are sized by neck measurement, with a standard sleeve length specific to each size. If you require an altered sleeve length, Ledbury offers a sleeve tailoring service.

  4. Does Ledbury offer tailoring for shirts?

    Ledbury offers sleeve shortening on our dress shirts and business casual shirts for $10 per shirt. Our tailors adjust the sleeves in increments of a half inch, up to 3". The tailoring fee is $10, and is nonrefundable.

    We recommend ordering your first Ledbury shirt at the standard length, and having the tailoring done locally, to your measurements. That way, you'll be able to verify your fit before incurring any non-refundable tailoring fees and restocking fees for tailored returns. Once you know what size works best for you, you can be certain that you are selecting the perfect tailored length with us on subsequent orders.

  5. Does Ledbury offer tailoring for blazers and sport coats?

    We do not currently offer tailoring on blazers and sport coats. Blazers or sport coats that have been tailored or altered are not eligible for return or exchange.

    If you are interested in a more customized jacket or suit, we offer Made-to-Measure suiting appointments at our showrooms in Richmond, Virginia and Washington D.C.

  6. How should I care for my Ledbury products?

    Specific instructions for each garment can be found on the inside care tag. Our shirts are machine washable, provided they are washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. Hang or lay flat to dry, as machine drying can cause shrinkage. Be sure to remove collar stays before washing your shirts. Avoid excessive heat and use little to no starch to prolong the life of your shirts. If having your shirts professionally cleaned, we recommend requesting the same care instructions listed above.

  7. Do you offer easy care fabrics?

    Our Wrinkle Resistant Shirts are constructed from the same high quality fabrics used in our main collection. A formaldehyde-free treatment resists creasing, while preserving the feel and breathability of the garment.

  8. How often does Ledbury release new styles?

    While we offer our core collection of dress shirts year round, we release new ready-to-wear styles monthly. These limited run styles feature fabrics, patterns, and details unique to each season.

    We also feature experimental styles in very small quantities through our Ledbury Lab collection. Ledbury Lab styles are crafted at our Bespoke workshop at our headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

  9. Why don’t you offer my size/sleeve length?

    Ledbury is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers while we grow. We’d love to hear your suggestions. Please contact us to share your ideas and requests.

  2. How do I set up a personal shopping appointment at a Ledbury store?

    In addition to custom shirts and suits, one-on-one styling services are available in our Richmond, Virginia and Washington D.C. showrooms. Book an appointment online, or contact us directly.

  1. Does Ledbury have a storefront?

    Ledbury has two brick-and-mortar locations, and is offered at various retail partners across the U.S. Our flagship store is located in historic downtown Richmond, Virginia. Our Washington D.C. is located in Georgetown in Cady’s Alley. Click here for store hours and directions.

  1. Where are Ledbury custom shirts and suits made?

    We conduct all Made-to-Measure appointments at our showrooms in Richmond, Virginia and Washington D.C. Made-to-Measure shirts are produced according to your specifications by a team of master tailors at our European Workshop, Emanuel Berg. Our Made-to-Measure suits are constructed in Italy by Lubiam.

    Ledbury’s Bespoke garments are handcrafted here in our hometown of Richmond, Virginia.

  2. How do I order my custom shirts?

    • Book an appointment for your initial fitting at one of our two Retail Locations and place your order. We capture payment for your first shirt during this appointment.
    • In order to ensure that you get your ideal fit, we produce one shirt first at our European workshop. This will take 4–6 weeks for production and delivery. Once we receive your shirt from our master tailors, we will inspect it to ensure that all details are correct.
    • We encourage you to come in for a fitting at one to try on your new custom shirt at one of our locations. Our Made-to-Measure specialists can evaluate the fit and make any necessary changes to your measurements on the spot. (If you’re not a local customer, we’ll ship your shirt to you to try on at home.)
    • Once your custom fit is finalized, we begin production on the rest of the shirts in your queue and have them produced in just a few short weeks. We capture the remaining payment for your order when we send this next round of shirts to be produced.
  3. How do I order my custom shirts?

    • Schedule an appointment for your initial fitting at one of our showrooms. Our team will help you customize your fit and style. Payment will be required at this visit to produce your first custom shirt.
    • We’ll produce your first shirt at our European workshop to ensure an ideal fit before subsequent shirts are ordered. This will take 4–6 weeks for production and delivery. Once we receive your shirt from our master tailors, we will verify that all details are correct.
    • We encourage you to come in for a final fitting for the finished product. Our Made-to-Measure specialists can evaluate the fit and make any necessary changes to your measurements on the spot.
    • We’ll have your specifications on file for your future shirt orders, and we’ll be able to turnaround any future orders within a few short weeks.
  4. Can I make changes to my custom order?

    We are able to make adjustments to your shirt’s customizations within 24 hours of placing your order. Contact us by email or phone and we can make minor adjustments to your shirt’s details before we begin production.

  5. How soon will I receive my custom order?

    Our custom shirts take 4–6 weeks for production and delivery. We are able to expedite production of your Made-to-Measure order at additional cost. *Delivery and transportation are not included in production timeline:

    • 10-day production: $50
    • 6-day production: $90
  6. Can I have my Made-to-Measure shirt altered after I’ve received it?

    Our Made-to-Measure and Bespoke services are customized to your fit and style. During your appointment, we take up to 20 measurements to ensure an ideal fit. If alterations are required on the finished product, Ledbury will cover the alteration costs up to $50 per shirt. We'll save your measurements to your profile, to ensure that your future orders fit to the same specifications.

  7. What’s the return policy for custom garments?

    All Made-to-Measure and Bespoke orders are final sale. However, we want you to be completely satisfied with your custom garments. If additional alterations are required, we’ll make every effort to make it right.

  8. Do you offer discounts on custom shirts?

    We believe you should look sharp every day of the week. Buy six custom shirts, get the seventh free.

  1. Who founded Ledbury?

    Ledbury was launched by co-founders Paul Watson and Paul Trible in December 2009. It was at the height of the recession, and the Pauls had just graduated from Oxford with MBAs. When the major banks began to collapse, the two decided to shift gears from their expected careers in finance and turned to shirtmaking. They turned their passion for well-crafted goods into a business that prides itself on great fit and superb quality.

    Before attending graduate school at Oxford, Paul Trible grew up in southeastern Virginia and attended Washington and Lee University. He worked for nonprofit Operation Smile and eventually went on to lead Operation Smile UK, which brought him to London.

    Paul Watson grew up in New Orleans and attended Davidson College. He worked at the White House and served as a Country Liaison to Eurasia for the Defense Department.

    Today, Ledbury has grown to a small company of about 30 employees who share our founders’ commitment to building an exceptional brand.

  2. Why "Ledbury?"

    Ledbury’s founders, the Pauls, drafted their business plan while apprenticing with one of London’s premier tailors. A pub on Ledbury Road became their favorite place to discuss their future shirtmaking business. Our name is a tribute to that formative time in London.
