FIT GUIDE

The Franklin Fit

The Franklin 5-Pocket offers our slimmest fit, along with the 5-pocket styling you will find on your favorite denim. If you work in a casual environment, these will quickly become your go-to. The Franklin has a mid-rise for a comfortably casual look but with room to move. The Franklin 5-pocket comes in a range of fabrics, including a garment-dyed canvas, moleskin, and a lightweight washed cotton twill perfect for warmer weather to come.

The Richmond Fit

The Richmond pant offers a more classic silhouette than the Franklin and a tailored and traditional fit. You'll find this style mainly in a classic chino iteration in either a 100% cotton twill or 99% cotton blend with a hint of stretch for the ultimate comfort. If you wear a slim fit in our shirts and are looking for a polished chino, the Richmond is for you. This style is currently available in a range of spring-forward colorways including olive, slate, and airforce blue.

The Patterson Fit

The Patterson is our most classic chino fit and is a good choice for the chino purists out there. It has a fuller cut at the hip and thighs and a slightly higher rise. This style is for you if you typically purchase our shirts in a classic fit or have an athletic build. The flat front style and straight leg keep it professional at work but still comfortable for happy hour beers. The Patterson comes in classic 100% cotton chino fabric (some with a touch of stretch) and a selection of wearable tones like slate, stone, and navy.

FAQ'S

Q: How do I know what fit will look best on me?

If you're long and lean and look best in a slim fit, the Franklin 5-Pocket will be right for you. Guys who need a little more room in the legs should try the Richmond Chino. If you're a bit brawnier or have athletic thighs (cyclists, I'm looking at you) The Patterson will work best. That said, we always recommend taking your measurements before your purchase to ensure the correct fit. With pants or trousers, you'll want to measure your waist and inseam. To properly measure your waist for pants, measure around 2-2.5 inches below your naval. For your inseam measurement, measure the inside leg from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant leg. Note: All of our pants come with a 33" inseam. And as always, we offer free shipping and returns so you can try several styles and sizes at zero cost.

Q: What's the best way to care for Ledbury pants?

A gentle cycle machine wash should suffice, and we definitely recommend avoiding the dryer with all of our pants. Lying your pants flat and air drying them will ensure they retain their original size and shape. Determining what fabric they're made of, machine drying may result in some minor shrinkage.

Q: Do the pants run true to size?

All of our pants, save for the Franklin 5-Pocket, run true to size. If you're in between sizes, we recommend sizing up with the Franklin 5-Pocket, as they can run on the slim side.

Q: I need to dress a bit more professionally for work, but I also like to be comfortable. Which style covers both bases?

The Richmond or Patterson fit are the best options if you work in a more conservative work environment, as the Franklin leans more on the casual side. Their traditional trouser pocketing and tailored fit keep it polished while leaving enough room for movement. If you need a dressier option, the Downing Dress Trouser is always a good choice.

Q: Do the pants come hemmed or cuffed?

All of our pants will arrive hemmed to a 33" inseam. The Richmond Chino has a slightly tapered leg which looks great cuffed to show off your favorite spring shoes. Ledbury_Cat_16-17
